Dear Parents,

We are blessed to have received funds from the State this year that allowed us to purchase new student desks, tables, and chairs for all classrooms, preschool to 8th grade. The new desks and chairs for grades 1 - 8 are now assembled and in place, thanks to the help of several dads. Grandparents and VIPs will have a chance to see the new furniture on Tuesday. We also have new lunch tables and library furnishings. Do stop by after school when you can to check out our ultra-modern look!

Santa’s Secret Shop returns to OLC next week on Tues, Wed, and Thurs.. The shop is a great learning experience for young people: planning gift items, budgeting, counting money, making change, etc. The shop hours will be sent to you next week.

Dear Parents, Parents prefer text messages over email, so lately I’ve been texting to send out school news. I hope that’s your preference, too. This newsletter contains several seasonal items of interest.

All school Mass on Sunday, Dec. 10, at noon. The 5th grade class will serve refreshments after Mass in Halpin Hall. All OLC families are encouraged to join their classmates for this liturgy. Students who are present will receive a one day dress down pass for the following week.

Early release day: Wed, Dec. 6. Students leave 30 minutes early.

All school Christmas Concert: Wed., Dec. 13, 6:30 PM in church.

Our Christmas party is just around the corner, and school families are invited to celebrate with drinks, food, and activities: Fri., Dec 15, 6-9 PM in Halpin Hall.

Roller skating this week is a blast. It’s not too late for your child to skate. Call or see Pedro for details.
