ADMISSIONS POLICY
Our Lady of Charity is operated under the auspices of the Catholic Bishop of Chicago, a sole corporation, in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Our Lady of Charity admits students of any race, color, sex, religion, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students in this school. Our Lady of Charity School does not discriminate based on sex, race, color, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, athletic or other school-administered programs.

Our Lady of Charity School is open to all children whose parents want academic excellence, traditional discipline, and a total religious education program. Preference for admission will be given to registered members of Our Lady of Charity Parish.

A child entering Our Lady of Charity must comply with the age requirements of the State of Illinois.
For admission of a child to preschool or kindergarten, parents need to present the following documents:​

an official copy of the child's birth certificate

the baptismal record (if applicable)
3
the required state of Illinois health records
Age requirements

Pre-Kindergarten 3: The child must be three years old by September 1st

Pre-Kindergarten 4: The child must be four years old by September 1st

Kindergarten: Child must be five years old by September 1st
*Students new to Our Lady of Charity entering any grade are on 90-DAY probationary status. At any time during the one year, a student may be dismissed from the school for cause at the discretion of the principal.
