Weekly Newsletter

September 1, 2023

Dear Parents, The OLC Class of 1963 is organizing a tuition fundraising drive for us, and has already collected over $10,000 to be used to offset the cost of tuition for families who need it. We are blessed to have alumni who continue to support us!

On that note, I want to remind you that we accept transfer students from other schools, and it’s not too late to enroll. We do have scholarships for new families. If you refer a new family who enrolls a child in our school, you will receive a $250 tuition credit.

Flea Market: We are having a flea market to benefit the school, and will be renting out spaces that are about 10ft x 10ft in OLC's field on September 23 and 24. It is $30 for one day and $50 for both days, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you would like to rent a space, please contact our marketer, Yashica Zuniga: yzuniga@olc-school.org. We will also be taking donations: slightly used clothes, toys, furniture, so clean out your garage! This is an opportunity for parents to do volunteer hours as well.

Important dates:

Saturday, September 2: OLC Cross Country team’s first meet of the season at May Watts Park in Naperville at 9 AM. Let’s go Panthers!

Monday, September 4: Labor Day (no school)

Wednesday, September 6: Early Release day (students are dismissed 30 minutes before the regular time)

Friday, September 8: All school Mass at 9:00; parents are always welcome to attend

Yours in Christ,

Frank S. Zarate, Jr., Ed.D.
