Dear Parents,


Immunizations: Students who do not have their required immunizations (shots) will be excluded from school beginning next week. This is per State law. Letters to those students were sent home.


It’s not too late for your child to join the school band. Please let me know if you are interested or see Pedro in the office.


Congratulations to all of our OLC Cross Country runners for a fantastic and award winning season! 8th grade girls came in 1st place in Division A: Karina Alvarez, Nathalie Estrada, Camila Garcia, Zoe Garcia, Yatzil Garcia, and Maite Salgado. OLC boys came in 3rd place in Division A. Our cross country awards ceremony will take place tomorrow after the 9:00 Mass; parents are welcome to attend.


Help us to keep FREE LUNCH FOR ALL OLC STUDENTS and return by Monday the lunch program “Household and income form” that was sent home with your child this week. Forms may be returned to your child’s teacher or to Pedro (one form per family).


We have a girls’ basketball coach! Thank you to Mr. Bill Medina (head coach) and to Mr. Aaron Ramirez (assistant coach). We are looking forward to the season ahead.


All school Mass (K - 8) tomorrow at 9:00; parents are welcome.


All school Mass this Sunday, Oct. 15, at noon. The 7th grade class will serve refreshments after Mass in Halpin Hall. All OLC families are encouraged to join their classmates for this liturgy.


Early release day: Wed., Oct. 18. Students leave 30 minutes early.


All school Walk-A-Thon fundraiser: Thurs., Oct. 25. Students may wear their gym uniforms to school.


Halloween Dance for grades 6 - 8 only: Fri., Oct. 20, 6:00 - 9:00 PM, in Halpin Hall
