Dear Parents, We are looking forward to a great boys’ basketball season with OLC Varsity and Junior Varsity teams again this year. Cheerleaders have returned, too. We still need a JV basketball coach: let me know if you can help.

Parent-Teacher conferences are on Thurs., Feb. 10, 12:30 - 6:00 PM. Conferences will be virtual, via Zoom, as a COVID precaution. I hope you find this more convenient, too. February conferences are at your request or at teacher request. Once again, you will be using Pick-A-Time to sign-up for a time slot. I will send you the link soon.

The OLC Parish Dinner Dance planned for January 29 has been moved to Saturday, April 9, same time, same place (The Mayfield). There will be a family style dinner, open bar, raffles, and a DJ. For more information or to buy tickets contact the school office: 708 652-0262 ext. 201. Tickets are $60 per person.

We are going to create a bulletin board in the hallway that highlights each family at OLC for Catholic Schools Week. All students PK - 8 should bring a photo of your family to their teacher no later than Jan. 28. Include your child’s name on the back, and the photo will be returned. Xeroxed photos are fine. Thank you.

Early bird registration for next school year is 50% off the regular registration price. Register your child now for next year and the fee is $200. The fee increases to $400 beginning Feb. 6. Contact Ms. Candelaria Rosales to register: 708-652-0262 ext. 203 or via email crosales@olc-school.org.

On Feb. 10 we will automatically re-enroll your child for next year and apply the registration fee to your FACTS account. If you do not plan on registering for the 2022-23 school year, contact Ms. Rosales no later than Feb. 5. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Thursday, January 27: all school Mass, grades K - 8 at 1:00; parents are welcome Friday, January 28: family photo due (see above) Thursday, February 10: parent-teacher conferences (virtual), 12:30 - 6pm; students dismissed at 11:30

Friday, February 11: no school; staff development day
