Ms. Sandra Martinez

I am excited to begin this new chapter as a Spanish teacher and look forward to inspiring students to develop a love for the Spanish language and Latin American cultures. Having grown up speaking Spanish, I understand the value of bilingualism and believe that learning another language opens doors to new opportunities, broader perspectives, and meaningful connections. I truly believe that being bilingual is a superpower. I attended Catholic elementary and high school, where I developed a strong foundation in faith, service, and academic excellence. For the past five years, I have had the privilege of serving as a substitute teacher at Our Lady of Charity School, where I gained valuable classroom experience across multiple grade levels. This experience strengthened my classroom management skills, adaptability, and passion for helping students learn and grow. Before pursuing a career in education, I earned a degree in the medical field, where I developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Although my career began in healthcare, I discovered that my true passion lies in education. I have since returned to school and am currently working toward another degree as I continue my transition into the teaching profession.
