I studied in Colombia, where I earned my degree in Higher Education. My academic journey has always been guided by the belief that language is a powerful tool for connecting cultures and fostering understanding. I’ve been teaching for over five years, and what I enjoy most about working with elementary students is their curiosity and enthusiasm. Their energy makes every day unique, and I love designing interactive lessons that spark joy and a desire to learn. Being part of OLC School feels like being part of a family. I truly value the supportive environment, the shared commitment to student growth, and the opportunity to integrate language and culture into the classroom in meaningful ways. One of my favorite books to share with students is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It’s a fun way to teach vocabulary, sequencing, and the days of the week in Spanish. Students love the colorful illustrations and playful rhythm of the story. Outside of school, I enjoy creating projects inspired by Latin American culture, especially educational materials. I also love exploring nature and spending time with animals. My favorite animal is the chimpanzee, I find it to be a very intelligent creature. My favorite color is green, and my favorite food is crispy tacos.
