Karina Bañuelos

Ms. Karina Bañuelos is excited to join Our Lady of Charity as the new sixth-grade homeroom teacher this year. She will be teaching middle school math and science, subjects she is passionate about. Ms. Bañuelos earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and previously taught at Rauner College Prep.

A former volleyball player at Fenwick High School, she now enjoys coaching the sport at St. Richard School in Chicago—the same school she attended as a child. Ms. Bañuelos is thrilled to return to a Catholic school community and looks forward to sharing her love of learning with her students while helping them grow both academically and personally.
